The UCHINO Japanese Fine Pattern towel combines Japanese tradition with exceptional comfort. Its Komon pattern, composed of fine graphic repeats, elegantly adorns the gauze side while the terry side offers optimal absorbency.
Komon (小紋) is a traditional Japanese pattern style characterized by small, intricately printed or woven repeating motifs. Historically used on informal kimono of the Edo period, these designs appear plain from a distance but reveal their subtle complexity up close. Komon represents the perfect expression of Japanese minimalism and understated refinement.
Komon Shark is inspired by geometric scale patterns reminiscent of shark skin. This dynamic variation combines Japanese mathematical precision with a striking visual texture. Its textured appearance and optical relief add depth and movement while remaining true to the subtlety of traditional Komon.
